This is a 3-day project that introduces students to Paul Klee and uses examples of his paintings to discuss color schemes such as analogous colors, complementary colors and warm and cool colors. The lesson has students create their names in a repeated pattern and then fill the spaces between and in letters with a color scheme.
This Powerpoint Presentation includes a PDF file with detailed lecture notes and a link to Paul Klee slideshow and history.
Good for classroom teachers, substitutes and art teachers alike. This lesson uses only four materials, pencil, paper, marker and colored pencils!
