This product is chock-full of color flashcards, sorting cards, and word cards! I originally started making this resource for one of my students who is non-verbal and has recognizing colors as one of her IEP goals. It started off as just pictures and color word cards. But once I got started, the ideas started flowing!
I decided to make it into a pocket chart activity for her- one that she could manipulate the cards and move them around to match the colors up (one thing she is GREAT at is sorting!) Once the color sorting cards were done, I decided to add some differentiation and added the task of making sentences in the pocket chart to go with each sorting card. Sixty plus pages later, a great new resource is born! I cannot wait to use it with her this year!
And with the added sentence making, the resource became something I can use with even my beginning readers! The possibilities are endless!
