Many of us have rings of sight words, and how cute is the Pinterest idea to make a ring of color words using a crayon box as a cover to the word-ring? Well...with all of crayons around my room, I had no problem making the covers, but still needed the “pages”. Here they are! Ready to print (I’d suggest cardstock) and add to the ring! Each word box is the same size as a standard box of 24 crayons.
Are you unfamiliar with this Pinterest idea? Here are the steps:
Materials Needed: box of crayons, hole punch, clasping keyring
Cut the front and back off of a box of crayons. (These will be the covers to your ring of color words.)
Print and cut the color word cards in this file
Punch a hole in the top left corner and put the cards on the keyring
Use these cards in your classroom as a portable word-wall or print in black and white and use as a color flashcard practice
