Simple activity to address color word recognition and visual and fine motor/pre-writing skills. Student reads the color word then colors the ornament to match. Could be used for teaching, assessment, or fun independent work. Easily differentiated--choose from field of three large or ten small ornaments per page, depending on students’ ability to scan and/or color. Each presentation is further differentiated to two versions, one with the color words printed in the corresponding color and one with the color words printed in black. Also serves as a quick no prep fill-in activity (or for early finishers) during the busy holiday season. Great for students with Autism or other special needs as it is a closed ended activity and could even be broken into smaller activities. Also good for EFL/ESL/ELD/ELL students.
