Help your kids learn to read and write the color words with these fun activities and posters! Your kids will have a blast listening to the color songs while they work!
Color Word Detective pages: In these fun worksheets your students will focus on one of eleven specific colors (red, yellow, blue, orange, purple, pink, green, brown, black, gray, and white). They will practice writing the word, finding it, gluing it in order and even listening to it! There is a QR code section that your students can scan with their device and listen to the color word song! You can use these whether no matter if you have just one device or are 1:1. These are great for those auditory learners! All songs have been run through safeyoutube so you don't have to worry about pop-ups or commercials.
Color Word Posters: You can use these to introduce each color word or just hang them in your classroom.
Roll and Write Color Words: Kids roll a die and practice writing their color words. They can play this game on their own or with a partner!
Color Words with FREE Blendspace Lessons: YOU DO NOT NEED AN ACCOUNT TO USE THESE FREE LESSONS! If your students have access to devices, simply have them scan the included QR code and click play at the top of the lesson. If you do not have devices you can pull up the link (included) to the color words you would like to review on your computer and complete as a class. Then just hand out the worksheet to go with the lesson you just completed! I like to have my students use these as a part of their literacy stations for the day, after I have introduced all of the color words. You can check out of the lessons by scanning the code in the preview!
