*Update 8/10/2018: Key of G Major has been added in addition to Key of D Major.
Key of G Major has the option of a low or high octave G Major scale for violins.
This worksheet is a wonderful activity for the music classroom! This worksheet includes treble clef, alto clef, and bass clef. Students can color the picture based on the notes of the D Major scale. This worksheet is fun and features a pig, a cow, a sheep, and a rooster. Afterwards, why not learn "Old MacDonald"?
Students are to identify each note in the D Major scale. For more advanced levels, students can identify the two sharps in the key signature! Multiple clefs are provided to accommodate different instruments.
Find each pitch name in the picture.
Use the color key from the staff to color in the note names.
Use this worksheet as beginning of the year review, after concert review, before/after breaks review, to introduce or reinforce the concept of the D Major scale.
With three different clefs, no need to print variations of the worksheet. Mass print one worksheet!
Use as classwork for a substitute, as an activity while you work with small groups or individuals. Use as homework. Use as a FUN assessment (students will never know!)
Put on display in your classroom to show a visual examples of what your class does! Administrators and parents can SEE the content!
