After reading the book, "Brown Bear, Brown Bear, What Do You See?" use this structured writing activity to extend your students' thinking!
This packet includes two writing pages:
1. A graphic organizer that has your students write a descriptive word for three animals that the bear sees.
2. Three traceable sentence frames using the words, "The bear can see a" with space for your students to fill in their descriptive words and animal names.
I use this at the beginning of the year when introducing color words. After filling in the sentence frames, I have my students choose at least one sentence to copy and illustrate.
