I hope you enjoy this color super pack. It is LOADED with 25 HANDS-ON, DIFFERENTIATED activities to teach your little ones all about colors. Many activities incorporate math or language arts concepts!
Colors include: red, orange, yellow, blue, green, pink, purple, brown, black, gray and white.
Includes: MATH Concepts (number sense, graphing, counting, tally marks, number recognition)
ROLL-A-COLOR: roll a die, and then color in the corresponding color
2 ROLL THE COLOR DICE and TALLY-A-COLOR : Make your own color dice! Cut out the die template and paste or glue it together. Then either graph the colors you rolled (support activity), or turn them into tally marks (enrichment activity)!
4 SPIN-A-COLOR: Grab a colored spinner (3 differentiated boards + 1 Make-Your-Own) and spin, spin, spin those colors! Use a paper clip and a pencil as the “spinners”. Students graph (support) or tally (enrichment) the colors they spun.
2 COLOR-BY-NUMBER: Differentiated activity, students either read/recognize the color word OR students use the colored version of the sheet. Students color the shapes according to the color and number!
LANGUAGE ARTS Concepts: (listening/oral directions, sight words, handwriting)
4 RAINBOW SIGHT WORDS: Read the sight word, trace the sight word. Then write it down with the correct colors!
RAINBOW FUN COLORING PAGE: Student recognize the color word written on the rainbow and color the rainbow with the corresponding color.
3 FOLLOW THE DIRECTIONS: Students listen carefully to the teacher’s directions and then follow the specific instructions about shapes, numbers, letters and colors!
