This lesson is designed to teach elementary students a simple color-coded conflict resolution method. This lesson has been used with students in kindergarten through 5th grade, though it could easily be adapted for older students. Included in the lesson file are the following: 1. A lesson outline that explains the key learning goals, a slide-by-slide rundown, and tips on how to use the supplemental materials; 2. A presentation with 21 pages; 3. A PDF of just the steps to be used to make a laminated model; and 4. A PDF of smaller cards to use for review with individual classes, teachers, or students. This lesson takes about 30 minutes to teach. The conflict resolution method is one that works well with elementary students and requires minimal teacher/staff assistance once they learn it.
