Jigsaw pieces for creating wall displays and as a color mixing center.
In this pack you will find a set of 12 large jigsaw pieces in different colors. The name of each color is clearly written on each puzzle piece. These can be used to create a classroom display to teach the names and spellings of the colors. Also included is a heading for this display with the word “colors” spelled out on jigsaw pieces.
There are also 12 small jigsaw pieces. These can be used for matching with the large set or printed in duplicate to create matching pairs.
The jigsaw puzzles pieces slot together and can be used to show how we create colors by mixing the primary colors. There are 5 worksheets included for children to practice color combining.
They can also be printed in multiple (one set for each child) when going on a color hunt around the classroom/school. In this activity the child must find objects that match the color of their jigsaw pieces.
*This pack uses the US spellings for "color" and "gray". See my UK version for Irish/UK spellings.*
