Product Description
This is the British spelling version of this product. The only differences between this resource and the American spelling version are with the words color/colour and gray/grey. Everything else is the same included the sentences at the bottoms of each of the pages which may be in line with American language. Please read the sentences that are used at the end of this description.

This set of colour by code sight words includes six printable pages all with a food theme. Each page uses a different set of high frequency words. There is a sentence at the bottom of each page which the students can practice reading. They can also highlight or underline the sight words that are within the sentence. An answer key is included so students can check their own work. Colour by code is a great review activity, station area, or could also be included with a summer take-home pack. Children that love to color will enjoy colouring by code to reveal the pictures!

Here is a list of the sight words used for each page:

Fruit: the, of, and, is, to, in, a
Pizza: it, you, that, was, he, for
Sweets: I, with, they, on, are, as, his, at
Breakfast: this, have, from, or, be, one, had
Vegetables: what, by, words, all, not, but
Hamburger: when, there, your, said, we, can, were

This is the first set in a series of "Colour by Code" sight words. A future set will have additional words and will be sold separately. Once two or more sets are completed, a bundle deal will be offered with a small discount price compared to the total of the individual sets.

The sentences that are used are:

1. I will go in the grocery store to buy fruit.
2. He saved a slice of pizza for you.
3. I am baking treats with Ed for his party.
4. She had one egg for breakfast this morning.
5. There are not enough turnips to feed all the kids!
6. We can use your buns to make the hamburgers.
