Jigsaw pieces for creating wall displays and as a colour mixing center.
In this pack you will find a set of 12 large jigsaw pieces in different colours. The name of each colour is clearly written on each puzzle piece. These can be used to create a classroom display to teach the names and spellings of the colours. Also included is a heading for this display with the word “colours” spelled out on jigsaw pieces.
There are also 12 small jigsaw pieces. These can be used for matching with the large set or printed in duplicate to create matching pairs.
They can also be printed in multiple (one set for each child) when going on a colour hunt around the classroom/school. In this activity the child must find objects that match the colour of their jigsaw pieces.
The jigsaw puzzle pieces slot together and can be used to show how we create colours by mixing the primary colours. There are 5 worksheets included for children to practice colour combining.
*This pack uses the Irish/UK spellings for "colour" and "grey". See my US version for US spellings.*
