Students should have read at least to page 22 before this project is assigned.
Directions: Imagine you are planning a trip to Ireland. You are going to visit some of the places that held significance to Corrigan. Feel free to use a creative format of your own devising (like a travel brochure) or stick with a formal essay. Either way is fine, but to satisfy the requirements you must:
*Name two or three places that you would visit and explain their significance (to Corrigan or his family members).
*Use quotations from the novel to illustrate (or defend your reason for choosing) these meaningful places.
*Explain how similar experiences in your life might influence your impressions of these places.
*Include a map of Ireland (a hand drawing is fine) with the places labeled as well as 1-2 major cities for reference.
If you’ve chosen to write an essay, the essay must be 2-3 pages in length.
