Product Description
The purpose of this activity is to help students experience the difficulties in trade between Old and New Worlds.
Another objective is to help students understand how difficult it was to survive in the New World.
A last objective is to help students evaluate which group of people suffered the most through the clash of Old and New Worlds.
The goal of any simulation is to create an experience that is powerful enough to be remembered by students.
This simulation requires little preparation. All that is needed is a projector, to print and cut out Old and New World foods, and a cup to hold these. It is a fun and engaging way to learn about this event which greatly changed both worlds. Thanks for looking. Happy history!
