The PDF contains speech tasks and leveled language tasks. Page 2 contains a following written directions task. Page 3 contains a picture description, with follow up question cards on page 4. Pages 5-11 contain CV, CVC, and CVCV words on stimulus cards for a speech production task. Students can push toothpicks into a cucumber to make their own cactus. Page 12 is an animals sorting task. Pages 13-18 contain counting and basic addition/subtraction with numbers in their written form. Pages 19-24 contain a fact book about the desert with underlined vocabulary. Students can cut it out and staple it together to form a book. Page 25 contains reading comprehension questions with cues to go back to specific pages in the book. Page 26 contains vocabulary from the book with page numbers as an aid. Page 27-28 contain an animal facts activity.
The interactive PowerPoint contains videos for American Sign Language vocabulary related to the desert (i.e. cactus, dry, lizard, etc.)
