PS1. A: Structure and Properties of Matter Substances are made from different types of atoms, which combine with one another in various ways. Atoms form molecules that range in size from two to thousands of atoms.
Students need to understand how to identify the number of atoms in an element of a compound to efficiently work on modeling the composition. This lesson helps students break down the standard by taking it one step at time.
