Help your students do "S'more" practice with combining like terms with this interactive activity.
Students find and sort two graham crackers, chocolate and marshmallow to combine variables and then constants like terms. Students begin with a single graham cracker. They combine like variables, and look for the chocolate bar that matches. Students then combine constants and look for a matching marshmallow. A value is given for the variable, so students will also practice solving an expression. This final answer will match a second graham cracker for a completed s'more.

This activity can be used in small groups and a student activity sheet is provided for accountabiltiy and formative assessment.
