Learning Objective

Students will simplify expressions by combining like terms.

This fun Halloween activity has students moving and engaged with combining like terms. Students will answer questions with 2 answer choices. One is a "trick" (incorrect answer) and one is a "treat" (correct answer).

This Trick or Treat game has students simplify 16 expressions by collecting like terms (with no negatives). There are 2 problems with subtraction, but there will not be any negative coefficients when simplified.

This is perfect as a stations activity or class game.

Students love these... especially when real treats are involved! I hope you love it and your students learn it!
