This is a food project for later on in the unit when the students feel comfortable using and writing in Spanish to describe foods!
They pick (or teacher chooses) a Latin American country to study. They need to find 5 foods from that country, explain what is in it and why is it popular (i.e. lots of corn production in X-country so they use a lot of corn flour and tortillas)
I ALWAYS make my kids write and present IN SPANISH! Thus, part of their grade is based on GRAMMAR!
this can be an in-class multiple day project if you have access to computers, or a week take-home project!
