This is a review game I developed to help my students review comma rules while also getting them working as teams, getting them to think critically, and letting them get up and move.
The activity has students divide into groups, listen to a passage that is projected on the board, and add commas to the passage in a relay fashion. Whichever group uses all 10 commas first is the winner. (More thorough directions are included in the slideshow.)
The game requires teachers to print, laminate, and cut out large commas, which are then attached to a magnet button. Other than that, all of the materials (chart, sample passages, directions, numbered commas, photo examples) are included in the slideshow.
