Teach and reinforce comma rules with these canine-themed worksheets! Students stay engaged with corgi art and stories while practicing specific comma concepts in scaffolded tasks. Easy to print and pass out to students, these are great for reinforcement and practice comma rule instruction, a rainy day resource for ELA sub plans, or as review for comma concepts.
The worksheet is broken down into three tasks. In the first task, students practice implementation of the rules given by inserting commas into practice sentences. In the second task, students revise sentences to include examples of the comma rules studied, and in the final task, students create sentences of their own that demonstrate mastery of the comma concepts.
Comma concepts covered in this activity include:
-Commas used to set off introductory words, phrases, or clauses.
-Commas used to separate dates, titles, and addresses.
