Comma Rules Test Prep Review Game: Are you a comma star?
An interactive game is a fun way to get students engaged and review comma usage! Preparing students for state testing can get very boring, so keep your classroom exciting! I specifically designed this game to review 6th grade ELA standards, but it will work well with grades 5-7.
The types of commas included are:
Sentence Structure (Compound and Complex Sentences)
Commas in a series
Students will love the game format of the interactive PowerPoint. The "game" can be played several different ways! I usually group students into groups of 3 or 4 and have them appoint one student the "score keeper". (See my FREE Group Accountability Roles in my TpT store for more ideas on group management!) Students can also play the game individually on paper, white boards, or integrated technology!
Teacher directions are also included to help you get started.
Note: You have to click the WORDS in the PowerPoint for some features and the OBJECT for others. Be sure to spend some time playing around with it first! This is explained more thoroughly in the Teacher Directions document included with purchase.
