This is the 1st standard for the Common Core Informational Standard of who, what, where, when, why and how. Students are given two passages to read closely to determine what the text says explicitly and to make logical inferences from it; cite specific textural conclusions draw from the text. There are multiple choice questions as well as short answers. Students are asked to find details and to list the passage number they found it in. Paragraphs are not numbered so students will have to understand how to count paragraphs and find the information. This is how students will be tested on Common Core Benchmark tests. The perfect practice for you weekly test in preparation for the Benchmark.
