These 40 Common Core-aligned music videos are a fun, effective way to introduce second grade standards to your children. Think of them as 2-minute "commercials of your classroom." I've used basic examples to help children to connect to prior knowledge. Next, I've given you ideas for building upon concepts before, during, and after you sing to help all children meet or exceed the standards.

I recommend using these videos with the whole class. Just click on a title in your Google Doc and press "Play." You also have permission to share links in ALL of your students' Google Classroom accounts--year after year! In addition, you can download videos to your computer if your Internet access is spotty.

You'll get a Google Doc that includes:

- Links to 40 music videos
- Common Core standards alignments
- Mini-lessons that connect songs to second grade standards

*BONUS: If you write to me at missjenny@edutunes.com and say, "I agree not to share my login information," I will give you access to a private area of my website, where you can view all videos on one convenient web page.*
