Fourth Grade Measurement 6 - Metric Weight teaches students the different members of the metric weight (mass) family: metric ton, kilogram, gram, milligram and when to use them. Students will also learn how to convert from one unite to another. There is a title slide, focus slide, objective, essential question, vocabulary, concept development, demonstration on when to use which measure and how to convert, guided practice, checking for understanding, problem solving with a word problem, and a reward slide at the end. For best results, students should have white boards and dry erase markers.
