Fourth Grade Place Value 3 teaches students how to compare numbers up to a million. The symbols greater than, less than, and equal to are defined and illustrated. There is a title slide, objective, essential question, vocabulary, concept development, step-by-step demonstration on how to compare numbers to the millions, guided practice, checking for understanding, problem solving with a word problem, and a reward slide at the end. For best results, students should have white boards and dry erase markers.
