Product Description
This is an I am..., Who is...? activity that aligns with the Common Core mathematics standards for sixth grade math:

CCSS.Math.Content.6.EE.A.1 Write and evaluate numerical expressions involving whole-number exponents.

Evaluating operations with exponents is a fundamental skill for pre-algebra and beyond, and students will get lots of practice with exponents through this activity. Some of the problems in this activity require the use of a calculator, making it great for repetitive practice with the exponent function on your students' calculators.

The problems in this activity include exponents of both 1 and 0 so that students can get practice with these kinds of problems as well as the more common higher exponents.

Directions, 30 activity cards, a worksheet for students to record their answers, and an answer key are all included.
