This is my second resource created for ratios and proportional relationships for 6th grade. Click the title below for the first resource.
This product will save you time as you introduce percents and converting measurements with guided examples. Students will stay engaged as they must fill in the missing parts of notes and examples. There are application problems, check for understanding problems and independent practice problems in this resource.
1. Find a percent of a number. Multiply the number by the percent written as a fraction or a decimal. Use a diagram.
2. Find the whole when given a percent and the part. Diagrams are used.
3. Convert units of measurement. Three strategies are presented.
4. I Have – Who Has game on percents and converting measurements
The first three activities were designed as handouts for teacher led lessons. These activities may also be used for remediation.
Detailed answer keys are included.
