1) An informational American history article of 700+ words called “The Washington Monument.” The construction of the monument, curiosities about the structure’s history, and its special meaning to American citizens is explored.
2) A set of 24 questions written to align with these Common Core Informational Text Standards: RI.4.1, RI.5.4, RI.5.7
