The Common Core Language Conventions Standards include a lot of sub standards with many different topics. I started creating worksheets to address each of those topics. I found that students have a hard time with who vs. whom, so I thought of some activities that could help them with that.
This packet includes some worksheets for practice, but my students really benefited from the questions and answers activity. There are so many different ways a teacher could use this in the classroom. If you follow the directions, you will have students SPEAKING, LISTENING, COLLABORATING, WRITING, AND PRACTICING LANGUAGE CONVENTIONS all at once! Great for ELD students.
No lie, my students cheered when I mentioned we using them again. One student even asked if the "Who" and "Whom" questions and answers could be one of our "May-Do" activities.
