Students will develop their reading skills in three important reading areas that are often over-looked in various reading programs. In addition to developing their reading skills, students will develop their writing skills, including the clarity of their paragraph development, spelling, grammar, and punctuation.
Why give a general book report that merely asks for a summary and doesn't even teach the proper way to write one? Students will write a summary, prove the theme of the book, and analyze how a particular scene in the story affects the overall plot.
This book report is well-organized with clear expectations for students. Simply download and pass out to your students.
Please note that standards are listed for 6th grade; however, these standards are similar to other grades as well.
