PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

This is a set of 7 activities for word work in the the classroom using CVC words. I create my activities to increase student independence. These activities would be appropriate for use during CENTERS or during independent structured work time.

The heavy use of visuals and pictures make these activities appropriate for kindergarten, 1st grade, special education or ESL settings. My students with Autism have been very successful at increasing their phonics and phonemic awareness skills using these materials.

I recommend printing on card stock and laminating the boards for reuse. The boards with moveable pieces can be attached using velcro. The boards that are designed to be written on can use an erasable marker. My students LOVE writing with the erasable marker and in my district, printer ink is like liquid gold.

ABA, TEACCH, ABLLs, ABLLs-R, Structured work stations, File Folder Game.
