This exercise allows students to read the Crooked Chronicle, a newspaper that recounts the Wolf's story of the True Story of the 3 Little Pigs and answer questions aligned with the Common Core in Reading. Students will analyze point of view, author's purpose, make inferences and locate textual evidence to show comprehension. Students will also compare and contrast the characters and narrators in both stories. Students will also apply understanding of the Bill of Rights as they prepare to defend the Wolf in a mock trial for questioning.
