PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

This worksheet is aligned to the common core for customary conversions. The students will complete the conversion for each pair of powerade bottles. Next, they will choose which powerade bottle has the largest amount. Last, once choosing the bottle with the largest amount, they will color the bottle based on their favorite flavor of powerade. There are 9 pairs of powerade bottles and each bottle needs to be converted. It is aligned to MCC6.RP.3d but can be used for other grade levels that need to solve real-world problems using proportions. It can be used as a practice study guide for a quiz on customary conversions, as a homework assignment, a quiz or just a practice worksheet.
