Directions: Research one of the important people from the ancient Hebrews and write a research paper about that person. Make sure you DO NOT copy from the sources and make sure to use your own words to write your report. You will also create a detailed drawing of the person you select. (You may use technology if you prefer i.e. Powerpoint or google slides). To conclude your research, you will be sharing it with the rest of the class in an oral presentation.

Famous people from ancient Israel: Circle or highlight the person you want to research
Yohanan Ben Zaccai
Sometimes research is limited and we cannot find answers to everything; answer at least 8 of the questions to research the person you selected. With approval you may create your own research question(s).
1. What was the role of this person?
2. Did he or she have an important parent? If so who and why were they important?
3. Was he or she married? If so who was their spouse (husband or wife)?
4. Did he or she have children? If so, how many and what were their names?
This is a step by step research project specially designed for title 1 students. There is an example paragraph at the end of the packet. In addition, there are websites that I have found that can help them find information on these Hebrew leaders.
