These "I CAN" Statements are based on the current (implemented 2012) Ohio Extended Standards.

The **Newly REVISED** Extended Standards must be implemented in Ohio by Fall 2019, but may be used/referred to during the 2018-19 school year.

The NEWLY REVISED EXTENDED STANDARDS "I CAN" STATEMENTS (2018) are also available in my store.

EXTENDED Content Standards Common Core "I CAN" Statements were developed for Students with Special Needs performing significantly below grade level.

Even though I use the REGULAR CC Standards for most of my students, these are

excellent for using the levels of complexity to build up to some of the more challenging concepts!

Having the Extended CC statements posted in my room has really helped some of my kids (and me) feel less overwhelmed with regular CC statements that seem difficult to them! We can see that we can tackle them step by step!
