These first grade Common Core Posters are large, and colorful! With the Superhero kids they're also adorable! They are the perfect way to display the daily standards to your students.
This PowerPoint file contains:
---all the CCSS standards posters for reading, writing, language and science
-- 9 different blank editable versions of the posters so you can add your own standards.
-- 14 editable headers (one to match each poster style)
The posters are 8.5 X 11 in., landscape view and each one has one standard with KG Part of Me font.
Each first grade cc poster has two sections; the top has the standard written in an "I can" statement for students to understand, the bottom has the standard number and exact wording from Corestandard.org and Nextgenscience.org for teacher reference. The teacher section can be cut away from the student section if you want a smaller poster to display for the students to see.
The posters are organized into 5 areas.
Reading (RL, RI, RF standards)
Writing (W standards)
Language (SL, L standards)
Math (OA, NBT, MD and G standards)
Science (PS, LS, ESS, ETS standards)
(There are no posters for Social Studies standards because each state has their own objectives for this subject. But you can use the editable file to make your own posters, which has a page for Social Studies.)
To help you keep track of the standards through the year there is a a Standards Check List. You can write the date of instruction, or the date your students master that standard.
