This Common Core Kindergarten Math Review: Number and Operations in Base Ten will provide all Kindergarten teachers with a quick, effective assessment of their Kindergarten students' math skills. Based on this concept of Base Ten, students will count the number of "happy cupcakes" on each page and then write the number of cupcakes by breaking each addition problem down into tens and ones. Students will then draw "happy cupcakes" to represent the sum of the addition sentence created through the concept of Base Ten on that particular page. Then, students will match addition sentences to their correct answers by drawing a line. These are the various skills that will be practiced in this particular review in order to practice finding sums from 11 to 19 through the concept of BASE TEN. A quick assessment to use on any day of the week!
