Geometry is a foundational subject at all levels. It is one that many students enjoy in the elementary grades, especially when it comes to shapes!
Learning different polygons is not only important for many other higher-level aspects of geometry that come later, but can be important to other curriculum areas such as art, science, and engineering.
As I searched, I had a difficult time trying to find a way to help students organize the different regular polygons. I wanted to organize them by their sides and angles and give examples to help students remember them more readily...
I never found a way, so I created this chart instead!
This chart has spaces for all important regular polygons that kids need to know from grades 2-8 and includes every polygon from three to ten sided, with room for a few extras in between!
Also includes an answer key.
