This is one of many common core math center packets I will have available in my TpT store. Each CC standard will have at least two math centers you can use in your classroom. The price of the standard packet will vary depending on the number of math centers in each packet. Once all the standards for a strand, like operations & algebraic thinking, have been created, I will bundle them all into one big file. Or, you can still purchase them individually. Please follow me on TpT for updates when new math centers are posted. These are specifically for 4th grade but could be used in 3rd or 5th grade math classrooms for enrichment or review. One of the great features of the common core math centers is they are all blackline masters. No need to purchase or use color ink. Just copy onto colored paper, laminate, and you are ready to go! All directions are on the title page for your center.

This set includes six math centers to use with the MCC4.OA.4 standard. This standard's focus is working with multiples and factors of numbers 1-100 and prime and composite numbers.

6 math centers that focus on MCC4.OA.4

o Am I a Multiple?: {looking at numbers and deciding if they are a multiple of a given number}

o Factor Race: {finding as many factors of a given number within a selected time frame}

o Multiple Machine: {having an 'input' number on a machine and finding that given number's first six multiples}

o Prime or Composite?: {studying vocabulary to help identify if the given numbers are prime or composite. Students must then support their answers mathematically and through written expression}

o Factor Rainbow: {creating factor rainbows (example provided) for given numbers}

o Prime & Composite Categorize: {categorizing given numbers under headers then transferring the information to a t-chart where students will support their answers mathematically and through written expression}

“I can find factor pairs, determine if a number is a multiple of a given number, and identify if a number is prime or composite.”
