This activity was created for my middle school math stations on greatest common factor and least common multiple. It includes two activities, one for GCF and the other for LCM, as well as the four spinners you will need. I like to just use paper clips as the spinners, but you can use the arrows that are included. It will give your students the opportunity to each complete a unique set of problems. They spin the spinners to choose the numbers and then find the GCF or LCM. Then, there is a little competition element, as they add up all their answers. The lowest sum of LCM's wins and the greatest sum of GCF's wins! I laminate the included student directions to keep at the station.

Use the distributive property to express a sum of two whole numbers 1–100 with a common factor as a multiple of a sum of two whole numbers with no common factor. For example, express 36 + 8 as 4 (9 + 2).
