This is a new station for practicing computation.This set focuses on statistical measures of center and variability and includes four different Roundabouts, each with eight problems. It is self checking in that the pieces fit together, linking problems with correct answers to form a circle. Print a copy and leave it together to use as a key.

My station rotations are in groups of four. I like to use these as an individual practice station. That is, when the group gets to this station, each student grabs a set of Roundabout pieces and gets to work. They can switch if two finish with time left at the station. You could also have the students work in partners or groups of four.

I have included two versions. In the first, the problems and answers are in corresponding colors. That way, if a student drops an answer, you know which Roundabout it belongs to. In the second version, all the problems and answers are in black. Here you can print them on four different colored sheets of paper. There is also a sheet included for students to record their work. I laminate the included student directions to keep at the station.
