Product Description
This is a comprehensive vocabulary review for statistics and probability in middle grade math. It includes 21 essential vocabulary words in an "I Have Who Has" game. My station rotations are in groups of four. I like to use this as a group station. Just laminate and cut out the cards. Be sure that all of them are distributed to the students in the group. One student begins by reading the "Who has...." question from their card. The student with the correct response then reads their whole card. The game is over when all cards have been read. I laminate the included student directions to keep at the station.

This activity would be great to review before a standardized test or classroom test. The included terms are: statistics, probability, distribution, quartiles, interquartile range, mean, median, mode, event, frequency, range, mean average deviation, quantitative, variability, observations, maximum, minimum, measures of center, measures of spread, shape, and outliers. This activity was created by Kimberly Wasylyk, a middle school math teacher with 10 years of experience.

Common Core:
CCSS.Math.Content.6.SP.A.2 Understand that a set of data collected to answer a statistical question has a distribution which can be described by its center, spread, and overall shape.
CCSS.Math.Content.6.SP.A.3 Recognize that a measure of center for a numerical data set summarizes all of its values with a single number, while a measure of variation describes how its values vary with a single number.
