This series of lessons coincides with Common Core Standards performance assessment for an opinon essay. It brings students from a "writing on demand assessment" through a step by step writing process that correlates to a performance assessment. It includes a note-taking organizer for a video and article, along with reinforcing peer communication. At the end, the students will be able to compare their "on demand" pre-assessment with their final product. The rubric allows self, peer and teacher rubric final assessment. Although this task subject area is recycling, any topic can be used with basic slides.
