Do you need a way to have your students review place value?
These Common Core Aligned task cards should help.
There are 24 task cards. I also included black-line copies of the recording sheet and assessment. The task cards can also be printed in grayscale to save ink. I've included a separate “Place Value” assessment sheet using the same questions on the task cards for an alternative recording sheet or you may use it as an assessment.
4th Grade Common Core Standards Addressed:
4.NBT.1- Recognize that in a multi-digit whole number, a digit in one place represents ten times what it represents in the place to its right
4.NBT.2- Read and write multi-digit whole numbers using base-ten numerals, number names, and expanded form. Compare two mutli-digit numbers based on meanings of the digits in each place using >, =, and < symbols to record the results of comparisons.

5th Grade Common Core Standards Addressed:
5.NBT.1- Recognize that in a multi-digit number, a digit in one place represents 10 times as much as it represents in the place to its right.


Simply run these task cards to use in small groups. You may also run the task cards two to a sheet to make smaller cards for stations.
