These posters will make displaying your daily objectives super easy. Each poster has two sections; the top has the standard written in an "I can" statement for students to understand, the bottom has the standard number and exact wording from Corestandard.org and Nextgenscience.org for teacher reference.
The posters are 8.5 X 11 in., landscape view and each one has one standard. The text on all posters is editable. I used the font KG Part of Me for the large text and small font at the bottom is Calibri. You will need to have these fonts installed on your computer. If you decide to use a different font, the letters and words may look different. You would need to adjust the size to make everything fit on the page.
Each zip file contains:
--An editable PowerPoint file that allows you to change the text on any of the posters.
-- Plus a Powerpoint file with 16 editable versions of the posters so you can add your own standards.
The posters are organized into 5 areas.
Reading (RL, RI, RF standards)
Writing (W standards)
Language (SL, L standards)
Math (OA, NBT, MD and G standards)
Science (PS, LS, ESS, ETS standards)
(There are no posters for Social Studies standards because each state has their own objectives for this subject. But you can use the editable file to make your own posters, which has a page for Social Studies.)
To help you keep track of the standards through the year there is a Standards Check List. You can write the date of instruction, or the date your students master that standard.
