PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

8th Grade Common Core Student Response Pages for Informational Text contains ten pages of attractively-designed student-ready handouts that will have your students practicing the Common Core Reading Standards with any informational text you choose to teach.

Each response page starts with an explanation of the concept the standard reflects in language the student can understand. The next section begins with the words “Your job is to . . .” followed by a short bulleted list explaining to the student what tasks will need to be done related to the text you are using. Then the practice work related specifically to the standard follows, in various inviting formats such as bulleted lists, boxed sections, columns with headings, and lined areas with borders.
