This product includes an assessment for each of the 5th grade Reading Literature Common Core standards. Use them to help with standards-based grading and parent-teacher conferences.

Each assessment has four questions and is out of 4 points, just like the 1-4 scale on a standards-based report card. The level 1 question is based on the third grade standard, the level 2 is fourth grade, the 3 is fifth grade, and the 4 is sixth grade.

Each week, I focus on a different standard, and on Friday, I give the assessment that matches that standard. This shows me who has mastered it and who need some extra help. I use the data to form my strategy groups for the following week.
