6th Grade Common Core Student Response Pages for Literature contains thirteen pages of attractively-designed student-ready handouts that will have your students practicing the Common Core Reading Standards with any literature you choose to teach.
Each response page starts with an explanation of the concept the Common Core Standard reflects in language the student can understand. Next, a section begins with the words “Your job is to . . .” followed by a short bulleted list explaining to the student what tasks will need to be done on the page related to the text you are using. Then the practice work related specifically to the standard follows, in various inviting formats such as bulleted lists, boxed sections, columns with headings, and lined areas with borders.
