This is a great small-group center activity that can be scaffolded specifically for your students! Students can work in a group, with partners, or independently depending on their level.
Directions for Teachers:
Print the Directions boards and Number boards on cardstock. I
would laminate them or put them in a page protector. (I am
planning on matching the student directions and rounding
boards on the same color cardstock when I print it to help
make sure students don’t get confused!) Then, write each
number from the answer sheet on a different clothespin. (I
might even put the same colored dot that matches so you know
easily which set each belongs to – but then again, I’m just a
good ‘ol Type A!) The students then round the number on the
clothespin and clip it to the board. I make mine turn in an
accountability sheet for all independent centers, so I’ve
included that as well.
Students can then check their work after they complete and
turn in the accountability sheet to you. (I am going to put my
answer key in between my cardstock directions and board.
The students won’t know, but then I can tell them to grab it out
and check their answers independently.
Enjoy! And please, leave some positive feedback if you plan to
use and/or like this product! Thanks!
